Bharath Built Pro is an authorized channel partner for dormakaba in Bengaluru, supplying door hardware, glass partition systems, and entrance automation solutions to architects, interior fit-out companies, PMCs, and consultants across Karnataka.

Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to independently manage the company's day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records in Tally, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and statutory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally (Tally Prime/ERP)
- Record and post all sales, purchase, and expense entries
- Process and post customer receipts and vendor payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including follow-ups on outstanding payments
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and assist with TDS compliance
- Generate invoices and maintain proper documentation for all transactions
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet)




- Coordinate with the company's CA/auditor for annual audits and tax filings
- Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry with minimal supervision

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting/bookkeeping (adjust based on your needs)
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP is mandatory
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Prior experience in a trading/distribution or building materials/interior fit-out business is a plus
