We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students through the process of selecting suitable international education opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending appropriate courses and universities, and assisting them throughout the application and admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding study-abroad opportunities, courses, universities, and countries.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, financial considerations, and preferences.
- Recommend suitable universities, courses, and destinations based on the student's profile.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation, and other relevant information.
- Guide students through the complete university application and admission process.
- Assist students with preparation and submission of required documents.
- Follow up with students regarding applications, offers, admissions, and pending documentation.
- Coordinate with universities, colleges, and international education partners when required.
- Provide guidance regarding English-language proficiency tests such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc.
- Support students with visa documentation and coordinate with the visa processing team.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, applications, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students and maintain robust relationships with them.
- Stay updated on changes in university admissions, intakes, visa requirements, scholarships, and international education policies.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and student counselling sessions.
- Achieve individual and team counselling/admission targets.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience in study abroad counselling, overseas education, student recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of international education systems and admission procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
- Strong follow-up, persuasion, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of popular study destinations such as UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland, USA, and New Zealand.
- Knowledge of university application portals and documentation requirements.
- Experience handling student enquiries and converting leads into applications.
- Customer-service-oriented approach.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Number of students counselled.

- Achievement of assigned monthly/quarterly targets.

Compensation & Incentives

- Competitive fixed monthly salary based on experience and skills.
- Performance-based incentives for successful student conversions and admissions.
- Additional incentives may be provided based on achieving monthly or quarterly admission targets.
- Incentive structure will be explained during the interview and may vary based on the course, destination, and successful conversion.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
