A pre-primary teacher educates and cares for young children (typically ages 3 to 6), helping them develop basic academic, social, and emotional skills before they enter primary school.

Job Overview

- Role Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
- Age Group: 3 to 6 years old (Nursery, LKG, UKG)
- Core Goal: Build a secure, engaging, and nurturing play-based learning environment that promotes early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lesson Planning: Design and execute age-appropriate curriculums covering basic letters, numbers, colors, and shapes.
- Interactive Learning: Use storytelling, rhymes, phonics, arts and crafts, and indoor/outdoor games to engage children.
- Classroom Management: Maintain discipline, establish daily routines (circle time, snack breaks, play), and ensure a safe space.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor developmental milestones, evaluate student behavior/learning, and maintain records.
- Parent Communication:



Update families regularly on their child's daily activities, progress, and social adjustment.
- Basic Care: Ensure the physical needs, health, and safety of the children are met throughout the day.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Graduate degree with specialized training such as NTT (Nursery Teacher Training), Montessori training, or a B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education.
- Skills:
- Excellent storytelling, phonics, and rhyme recitation skills.
- High patience, empathy, creativity, and a passion for working with young kids.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior pre-primary teaching or internship experience
