Position Summary
The Sr. HR Head will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving HR strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning in alignment with business goals. This role owns end-to-end HR governance — from policy-making and compliance to culture-building, talent retention, and team leadership — while acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO on all people-related matters.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
Align HR strategy with overall business goals and organizational priorities
Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO/leadership team on people-related matters
Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
Design and implement succession planning and career development frameworks
2. Policy, Compliance & Governance
Lead HR policy-making and periodically review/update policies and the employee handbook
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal company policies
Manage grievance handling, employee relations, and disciplinary matters
3. Culture, Engagement & Employer Branding
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture
Design and lead employee engagement,
wellness, and retention programs
Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
Manage internal communications related to HR policies and initiatives
4. HR Operations & Systems
Oversee HRIS and other HR systems/technology for efficient HR operations
Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective operations across HR functions
5. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, including HR Head and other HR personnel
Build team capability to execute HR strategy consistently across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with proven leadership at a senior level
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and governance
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Experience with HRIS and HR budgeting
