We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and Python to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining automation frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, and working with modern test automation technologies. Experience implementing AI components within Playwright will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, load, and performance testing.
- Use Python scripting for test automation and test-data generation.
- Implement and leverage AI components within Playwright.
- Perform API testing and integrate API automation into testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and test findings.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and quality processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in software testing and automation.
Required Technical Skills
- Overall Experience: 2–12 years in IT with a robust focus on test automation.
- Selenium: 3–8 years of experience in automation framework development using Selenium.
- Playwright: 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Python: Strong experience with Python scripting and test-data generation.
- Experience with Playwright AI components or AI-assisted test automation.
- Good knowledge of:

- API Testing
- Security Testing
- Understanding of Product Quality and Quality Metrics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with AI-driven testing or intelligent test automation is a plus.
