Purchase Engineer – Manufacturing Industry

Location: Pirangut, Pune

Experience: 3-4 Years

Qualification: BE/B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Salary: Up to 5 LPA

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Engineer with relevant experience in manufacturing and engineering procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Handle procurement of raw materials such as steel plates, bars, tubes, hollow sections, castings, aluminium, etc.

Valuable knowledge of steel grades and steel components.

Experience in market research, vendor identification, development and negotiation.

Coordinate with vendors for enquiries, quotations, price negotiation and order finalization.

Handle VMC, CNC and HMC machining-related purchase activities.

Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Manage PO creation, order registration, verification and timely entry in the system/ERP.

Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery, quality and other purchase-related activities.

Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments and suppliers.
