1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Multi-Boring Machine Operator for our furniture manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for operating multi-boring machines for precision drilling in plywood, MDF, HDMR, particle board, and other furniture panels used in modular furniture and interior projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of machine setup, drilling patterns, technical drawings, and furniture hardware fitting requirements while maintaining production quality and safety standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Operate multi-boring machines for drilling accurate holes in furniture panels, plywood, MDF, HDMR, and other engineered wood materials.
- Read and understand technical drawings, drilling layouts, and furniture production specifications.
- Set up machines, adjust drilling heads, select drill bits, and maintain correct drilling positions and depths.
- Perform drilling operations for hinges, dowels, confirmat screws, minifix fittings, and other modular furniture hardware.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and accuracy of holes as per approved drawings.
- Check panel dimensions and drilling quality before and after machine operations.
- Coordinate with the CNC, panel processing, edge banding, and assembly teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues and report major technical problems to the supervisor.
- Maintain daily production targets while minimizing material wastage and rejection.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance, and tool inspection.




- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping in the production area.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Furniture Technology, or a related field will be preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating multi-boring machines in the furniture or modular interior industry.
- Practical knowledge of panel furniture manufacturing and hardware drilling requirements.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and drilling specifications.
- Knowledge of machine setup, drill bit selection, and hole positioning.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Ability to work in a production-oriented workplace and meet daily targets.
