We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer - Java with Spring Boot to drive backend architecture and deliver secure, dependable services. You will build microservices with Java 21, Spring Security and Quarkus, integrate RESTful APIs, and steer CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments on Azure Cloud—apply now.

Responsibilities

- Engineer enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Define and implement microservices solutions deployed on cloud platforms
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs to connect backend services with frontend applications
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
- Run code reviews and provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering team members
- Drive architectural decisions to ensure quality, security, reliability and compliance
- Embed Agile and DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery processes
- Debug and resolve complex issues across the application stack
- Operate services using containerization and orchestration tools for deployment and management

Requirements





- Proven hands-on experience (5+ years) in designing and developing using Java 21, Quarkus and Java/JEE
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security and JUnit
- Practical knowledge of Oracle, Sybase and PL/SQL within relational databases
- Background delivering microservices architecture on Azure Cloud and Serverless
- Working proficiency with Kubernetes, including pods, containers, services and Istio
- Experience with Docker and Redis for development and runtime needs
- Ability to design RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field

Nice to have

- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and React (including Hooks)
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience in performance tuning and DevOps
- Ability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable and maintainable UI solutions following industry standards and patterns
