About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Machine Vision Engineer with strong experience in industrial machine vision, Python, computer vision, and edge computing to design, develop, test, and deploy vision systems for automated production and logistics environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with industrial cameras, optics, lighting, image processing, QR/barcode recognition, and industrial communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and validate industrial machine vision systems.
- Select and configure industrial cameras, lenses, and lighting based on inspection requirements.
- Develop Python applications for camera control, image acquisition, and image processing.
- Build vision-processing pipelines using Python, OpenCV, and NumPy.
- Integrate industrial cameras and fixed barcode/QR readers with edge-computing devices.
- Work with sensors, PLCs, digital I/O, and camera triggering mechanisms.
- Implement QR code, barcode, and DataMatrix recognition solutions.
- Handle image-processing challenges such as reflections, motion blur, varying lighting, and changing object positions.
- Integrate vision systems using TCP/IP and other industrial communication protocols.
- Develop tools for vision-system setup, testing, commissioning, and validation.
- Support onsite commissioning and troubleshooting of production-line vision systems.
- Work with backend/cloud teams to integrate validated vision data with wider platforms.





Required Skills

- 3–7+ years of relevant experience in Machine Vision, Computer Vision, Automation, Robotics, or Industrial Image Processing.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV and NumPy.
- Valuable understanding of industrial cameras, lenses, optics, lighting, and image acquisition.
- Experience with QR code, barcode, and DataMatrix recognition.
- Experience with image processing techniques such as image segmentation, thresholding, contour detection, and geometric analysis.
- Experience with TCP/IP, REST APIs, JSON, and camera SDKs/APIs.
- Knowledge of industrial camera technologies such as GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, or GenICam.
- Experience with industrial integration such as PLC, digital I/O, sensors, or hardware triggering.
- Good understanding of image quality, camera calibration, and vision-system validation.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage:

- Basler, IDS, Cognex, Keyence, Datalogic, Allied Vision, or Teledyne/FLIR cameras/systems.
- NVIDIA Jetson or other Linux-based edge-computing platforms.
- Industrial automation, conveyor systems, production lines, or logistics automation.
- Multi-camera systems and camera synchronization.
- Modbus TCP, OPC UA, or EtherNet/IP.
- YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other ML-based vision frameworks.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
