Job Summary:

Gearlinc is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Production Engineer for our in-house manufacturing plant. Since all our manufacturing processes happen right here, you will oversee the complete production lifecycle—from raw material processing to final product assembly. You will manage daily shop floor operations, optimize efficiency, and ensure that our production targets and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- End-to-End Production Management: Plan, schedule, and execute the in-house manufacturing process to ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are met.
- Shop Floor Operations: Supervise daily shop floor activities, allocate tasks to operators and workers, and maximize machinery utilization with minimum downtime.
- Quality & Process Control: Maintain strict quality control standards throughout production, monitor output quality, and perform root-cause analysis for any defects.
- Machine Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with the technical/maintenance team for routine checks, preventive maintenance, and quick resolution of machine breakdowns.
- Material & Inventory Tracking:



Monitor the flow of raw materials and track finished goods to prevent any bottlenecks in the manufacturing line.
- Safety & 5S Implementation: Ensure strict adherence to plant safety guidelines and drive 5S / Lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.
- Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit daily reports on production output, machine efficiency, material wastage, and labor performance to management.

Requirements & Skills:

- Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: [1 to 3] years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant or shop floor environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of plant machinery, tools, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Excel / ERP software).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
