We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in News Channel Video Editing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit raw footage into high-quality news videos.
- Edit breaking news, news packages, interviews, reports and political news content.
- Trim and assemble clips with strong pacing and storytelling.
- Add subtitles, graphics, music, sound effects and visual elements where required.
- Perform basic color correction and sound mixing.
- Prepare videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.
- Organize and manage video files and project assets.
- Handle revisions and deliver videos within tight deadlines.
- Maintain editorial accuracy and quality standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of professional News Channel Video Editing experience.
- News Channel experience is mandatory.
- Experience in News and Political News content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of news storytelling,
pacing and visual communication.
- Experience editing interviews, reports, packages and breaking news.
- Good knowledge of subtitles, graphics, sound mixing and basic color correction.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and editorial accuracy.
PREFERRED
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
- Knowledge of different video formats, aspect ratios and export settings.
