Job Summary
The HR skilled will be responsible for managing and coordinating all HR functions of the school, ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, compliance with school policies, and effective support to teaching and non-teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching staff, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records, personal files, attendance, leave, and other HR documentation.
- Coordinate joining formalities, induction, orientation, and exit formalities for employees.
- Handle employee queries and provide timely support on HR-related matters.
- Manage attendance, leave records, payroll inputs, and other employee-related data.
- Coordinate with management and department heads regarding staffing requirements and manpower planning.
- Draft and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs as required.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to school policies and applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate performance appraisal and employee evaluation processes.
- Handle employee grievances and coordinate with management for appropriate resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and other reports required by school management.
- Support school management in disciplinary matters and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure smooth communication of HR policies, rules, and procedures to employees.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of recruitment and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and HR software/tools.
- Problem-solving and employee-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with teachers, administrative staff, and management.
- Knowledge of basic labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced school environment.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in HR, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Experience in recruitment, employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
