Job Title: NPD Engineer – Current Product Development

Job Summary

We are looking for an NPD Engineer responsible for developing new aluminium products, coordinating product development activities, and ensuring successful transition of new products from development to production.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle new product development from concept to production.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Prepare and review product/process drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Tool Room, Purchase, and Sales teams for NPD activities.
- Develop and validate aluminium extrusion profiles as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate for die/tool development, trials, modifications, and approvals.
- Conduct trials and identify issues related to dimensions, profile quality, and process parameters.
- Prepare trial reports, NPD documentation, and product approval reports.




- Ensure new products meet required quality standards and customer specifications.
- Support process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement necessary product/process improvements.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, samples, trial reports, and development status.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Aluminium Extrusion and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of NPD, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / similar design software.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Aluminium Extrusion / Aluminium Profiles / Automotive / Industrial Components will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
