Job Description – Sales Supervisor

Department: Gift Items, Household & Crockery
Position: Sales Supervisor
Reports To: Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the assigned floor.
- Ensure proper display, arrangement, pricing and availability of products.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the store/warehouse team.
- Check products for damage, breakage, expiry (where applicable) and missing price labels.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper presentation of the floor.
- Guide and supervise floor staff and allocate daily duties.
- Assist customers with product selection and handle basic customer complaints professionally.
- Ensure proper handling and safe display of crockery and other fragile items.
- Monitor sales, fast-moving items and slow-moving stock.
- Support stock counting, inventory checks and periodic stock audits.




- Ensure compliance with store policies, safety procedures and loss-prevention practices.
- Coordinate with the billing, purchase, warehouse and other departments when required.
- Prepare or communicate daily issues, stock requirements and floor updates to the manager.

Skills & Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in supermarket, retail or department-store operations.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock handling.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Valuable attention to product display and cleanliness.
- Responsible, punctual and willing to work in shifts.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
