We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our agrochemical formulation and packing facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience managing pesticide formulation units (EC, SC, SL, WP, WDG), chemical processing, packaging lines, inventory, statutory safety compliance, and shop-floor workforce management. You will be responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring stringent quality control, and maintaining 100% compliance with government and environmental safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations & Production Planning

- Plan, schedule, and execute production targets to fulfill sales orders on time while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Oversee all formulation, blending, batch preparation, and automated/manual packaging lines.
- Monitor overall plant efficiency, minimize operational downtime, and reduce material wastage/yield loss.

2. Quality Control & Assurance (QC/QA)

- Ensure strict adherence to chemical specifications, active ingredient (a.i.) standards, and batch quality norms.
- Supervise testing protocols with the in-house quality control laboratory for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper retention of batch records, test certificates, and sample archives.

3. Statutory Compliance, Safety & EHS





- Ensure total compliance with the Insecticides Act (1968), State Agriculture Department regulations, and Pollution Control Board (CPCB/SPCB) norms.
- Direct operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and hazardous waste disposal systems according to environmental guidelines.
- Lead strict on-site Health, Safety, and Workplace (EHS) protocols, including chemical handling safety, PPE enforcement, fire safety, and mock drills.

4. Maintenance & Asset Management

- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all machinery, blenders, filling lines, boilers/compressors, and packaging equipment.
- Minimize unscheduled downtime and lead spare parts inventory planning.

5. Manpower & Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage permanent staff, shift supervisors, machine operators, and contract labor.
- Handle workforce scheduling, shift allocations, grievance redressal, and basic factory labor compliances.

6. Inventory, Dispatch & Supply Chain Coordination

- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams for smooth raw material (technical grade chemicals, solvents, surfactants) and packing material inwarding.
- Coordinate with sales/logistics teams for smooth dispatch and transport coordination.

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
