- Responsible for managing patient appointments accurately and efficiently while providing professional and courteous service. The role includes scheduling appointments based on provider availability, appointment type, patient needs, and established practice guidelines.
- Key Responsibilities
- Answer patient calls and schedule new and established patient appointments.
- Identify the patient's reason for the visit and schedule the appropriate appointment type.
- Follow provider-specific scheduling templates, appointment durations, and scheduling guidelines.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, referral requirements, and other necessary details.
- Schedule required testing before or after the provider appointment based on established protocols.
- Confirm appointment date, time, provider, location, and arrival instructions with patients.
- Handle appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and appointment changes.
- Obtain and upload referral documents and other required information into the EMR.
- Communicate with providers, front desk staff, authorization teams, and surgery coordinators regarding scheduling questions.
- Follow established guidelines for referrals, authorizations, copays, out-of-network patients, and other scheduling requirements.




- Document appointment-related communications and updates accurately in the scheduling system.
- Escalate unclear clinical or scheduling questions to the appropriate team instead of making assumptions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and practice policies.
- Provide professional, respectful, and helpful service to patients at all times.Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in an international call center, customer support, or US healthcare voice process (Medical Billing/AR calling experience is a plus).
- Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or any Graduate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a neutral or clear accent (no heavy stammering or lisp).
- Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of computers, MS Office, and typing skills (minimum 30–35 WPM)
- Willingness to work in the night shift (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM).Perks & Benefits
