-The position is for those interested in experimental work [wet lab/bench work]
The position requires an aptitude for laboratory bench work. Hands-on expertise in molecular biology experimental procedures is needed. The successful candidate will perform nucleic acid isolations (manual and automated), quality and quantity analyses, Next-Generation Sequencing
(NGS) library preparations, and the development of new genomics-based assays. Job Location is at our new lab in Sarjapur road, Bangalore.
Essential Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills:
1. Masters or Bachelors degree in any life sciences discipline.
2. Hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques.
3.
Strong aptitude for laboratory work and should be a detail-oriented person.
4. Basic IT skills that include familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
5. Ability to maintain accurate records of laboratory work.
6. Willingness to learn, and should be a team player.
7. Should be interested in long term role.
Desirable Experiences and Skills:
1. Hands-on experience in NGS library preparation.
2. Prior work experience in the Industry.
3. Positive understanding of Illumina NGS technology.
4. Experience in the lab accreditation processes like NABL etc.
