Position: Senior Vice President Operations

Location: Bangalore

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Required: 18 to 25 years

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end Operations, Supply Chain, Production, and Manufacturing functions for the business. Own P&L-linked; operational outcomes, build scalable manufacturing infrastructure, and drive the operational strategy that supports aggressive growth , ideally someone who has scaled a business in the 1,200–1,800 Cr revenue range.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the operations, manufacturing, and supply chain strategy aligned to business growth targets
- Lead multi-plant / multi-location manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Build and scale supply chain infrastructure , vendor development, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar frameworks
- Build manufacturing capability from scratch or significantly scale existing operations
- Own capacity planning, capex decisions, and current plant setup/expansion
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, R&D;, Quality, and Finance
- Build, mentor, and lead large operations/manufacturing teams (500+ workforce)
- Ensure regulatory, safety,



and statutory compliance across manufacturing units
- Drive cost optimization, margin improvement, and working capital efficiency
- Present operational strategy and performance to the Board/leadership

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering); MBA in Operations/Supply Chain preferred
- Six Sigma / Lean certification a strong plus

Experience & Track Record

- 18-25 years in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain leadership, preferably in consumer durables, appliances, or FMCG manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling a business/division in the 1,200–1,800 Cr revenue range
- Proven experience setting up manufacturing operations from the ground up
- Strong track record leading large, multi-site teams
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and modern supply chain tools
