Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cook who can prepare a variety of South Indian dishes, snacks/junk food, and regular daily meals. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Indian cooking, maintain hygiene, and be able to manage daily meal preparation independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh and hygienic South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Upma, Sambar, Chutney, etc.
- Prepare junk/snack food such as sandwiches, burgers, noodles, pasta, fries, etc.
- Prepare regular daily Indian meals including Dal, Rice, Roti/Chapati, Sabzi, and other home-style food.
- Plan and prepare meals according to daily requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking area.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Manage kitchen supplies and inform the concerned person when ingredients need to be replenished.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook is preferred.
- Good knowledge of South Indian, Indian and fast-food/junk-food preparation.
- Ability to prepare simple home-style daily meals.
- Should be hygienic, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently.
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
