Position: Operations & Distribution Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Operations & Distribution Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our water distribution business. The manager will be responsible for coordinating staff and delivery teams, ensuring timely deliveries, managing vehicles and routes, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth functioning of the plant and distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily 20L jar filling, loading, dispatch and delivery operations.
- Assign delivery routes to drivers and delivery staff for efficient distribution.
- Supervise labour and delivery teams and ensure proper attendance, discipline and productivity.
- Ensure all scheduled orders are delivered on time and minimize missed or delayed deliveries.
- Maintain records of jars dispatched, returned, damaged and pending.
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel, maintenance, servicing and breakdowns.
- Coordinate with drivers and delivery staff throughout the day and resolve operational issues.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor daily collections, outstanding payments and credit customers and coordinate with the accounts team.




- Maintain accurate daily records through Google Sheets/business management software.
- Track daily sales, deliveries, collections, labour productivity and operational expenses.
- Identify inefficiencies in routes, manpower and delivery processes and implement improvements.
- Ensure proper handling, cleanliness and storage of water jars and equipment.
- Coordinate with the owner/management regarding daily operations, staffing requirements and business issues.
- Help implement systems for customer databases, route planning, delivery tracking and digital record keeping.

Ideal Candidate

- Solid people-management and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment
- Good knowledge of local routes and distribution operations
- Able to manage drivers, labourers and multiple delivery teams
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
- Able to maintain discipline and accountability among staff
- Hindi communication is essential; basic English preferred
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
