Key Responsibilities

Production Management

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities of the Wooden Department.
- Ensure achievement of production targets within specified timelines.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Monitor workflow and resolve production bottlenecks.

Quality Control

- Ensure wooden frames and components meet defined quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality inspections during production.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and wastage.

Team Management

- Supervise and guide supervisors, machine operators, carpenters, and production workers.
- Allocate manpower effectively across shifts and production lines.
- Conduct training programs to improve skill levels and productivity.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of department employees.

Inventory & Material Management

- Coordinate with Stores and Procurement teams for raw material availability.
- Monitor consumption of wood, MDF, plywood, hardware, adhesives,



and finishing materials.
- Ensure proper stock control and minimize material wastage.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities for productivity enhancement and cost reduction.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Improve machine utilization and operational efficiency.
- Support new product development and process standardization.

Maintenance & Safety

- Coordinate preventive maintenance of woodworking machines and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and factory regulations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work setting.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Track KPIs such as productivity, rejection rates, machine utilization, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain production and quality records.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
