About the Role

We are looking for a WordPress Developer who can independently handle website development, customisation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Elementor, WooCommerce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, and should be comfortable converting designs into responsive, professional websites.

You will work closely with our creative, design and marketing teams to develop websites for clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain professional WordPress websites.
- Convert Figma/PSD/design layouts into responsive WordPress websites.
- Work with Elementor / Elementor Pro and other WordPress builders.
- Customise WordPress themes and plugins as required.
- Develop and customise WooCommerce websites.
- Write and modify HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP where required.
- Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Optimise websites for speed, performance and basic SEO.
- Troubleshoot website errors, bugs and technical issues.
- Integrate forms, payment gateways, APIs and third-party tools where required.
- Handle domain, hosting, SSL, backups and basic server-related tasks.
- Perform WordPress updates and website maintenance.
- Implement security and performance best practices.
- Test websites before deployment and ensure everything functions correctly.
- Coordinate with designers, content teams and clients when required.
- Manage multiple website projects and meet agreed deadlines.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who can actually build and manage websites independently, rather than someone who only knows how to install WordPress or use basic page builders.

The candidate should:

- Be comfortable solving technical problems independently.
- Have an eye for clean design and attention to detail.
- Understand responsive design and user experience.
- Be able to work from a design/reference and reproduce it accurately.
- Be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be willing to learn new tools and technologies.
- Take ownership of projects from development to final deployment.

Portfolio / Work Samples

Portfolio or examples of previous WordPress websites are mandatory.

Candidates should share websites they have personally developed or worked on.

Applications without relevant work samples may not be considered.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Freshers may be considered if they have solid practical WordPress knowledge and an impressive portfolio of independently developed websites.
