Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Import/Export, Logistics & Customs Clearance Executive with strong knowledge of international shipments, freight forwarding, import/export documentation, and customs clearance procedures. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments and ensuring smooth clearance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate import and export shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Handle and verify import/export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin, and related documents.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and clients.
- Manage and follow up on customs clearance for import and export shipments.
- Prepare and verify documents required for customs clearance.
- Track customs declarations, shipment status, examinations, duties, taxes, and release of cargo.
- Assist with resolving customs queries, documentation discrepancies, delays, and clearance issues.
- Coordinate transportation after customs clearance to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare freight quotations and coordinate shipment scheduling.




- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and clearance activities.
- Communicate with clients and logistics partners regarding shipment and clearance updates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable import/export and customs regulations.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in Import/Export, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Customs Clearance.
- Practical knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import/export documentation.
- Understanding of shipping terms such as FOB, CIF, EXW, FCA, and DDP.
- Knowledge of international freight operations.
- Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with US/Canada or international shipments.
- Knowledge of FTL, LTL, ocean freight, air freight, and road transportation.
- Experience coordinating with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
- Knowledge of HS codes, duties, taxes, customs documentation, and cargo clearance.
- Experience with TMS, CRM, ERP, or logistics software.
