Job Description – Cancer Specialist / Oncologist

Position: Cancer Specialist / Medical Oncologist
Department: Oncology
Location: Major S.D. Singh Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with various types and stages of cancer.
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in coordination with other specialists.
- Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and review diagnostic reports.
- Monitor treatment response and manage treatment-related complications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other medical professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options,



and supportive care.

Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB in Medical Oncology or DM/DrNB in Medical Oncology (as applicable).
Experience: Relevant clinical experience in Oncology preferred.
Skills: Robust clinical judgment, patient counselling, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination.
