Job Description – HVAC High Side Design Engineer

Position: HVAC High Side Design Engineer
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and prepare HVAC high-side systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Design and coordinate AHU, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, and HVAC equipment.
- Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, system sizing, and energy calculations.
- Prepare P&ID;, equipment layouts, schematics, BOQ, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate HVAC high-side systems with electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, structural, and architectural teams.
- Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings; knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is an added advantage.
- Review technical submittals, equipment data sheets, and vendor drawings.
- Coordinate with clients,



consultants, vendors, and site teams for technical requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, NBC, IS standards, and project specifications.

Qualification & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HVAC high-side design experience.
- Good knowledge of chillers, AHUs, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and HVAC equipment.
- Experience in heat load calculations and equipment selection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP/BIM knowledge preferred.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
