About the Role

Samarpan Girls Hostel is looking for a responsible, caring, disciplined, and trustworthy Warden Family to oversee the day-to-day functioning, safety, discipline, and well-being of girl students residing in the hostel.

The warden family will be expected to create a safe, homely, supportive, and well-disciplined environment for all residents while maintaining professional boundaries and hostel policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the overall day-to-day functioning of the hostel. at Patel Nagar Bhopal
- Ensure the safety and security of all girl residents.
- Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and a positive hostel environment.
- Monitor student attendance, entry, and exit records.
- Follow and enforce hostel timings and rules.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding routine hostel matters.
- Handle student concerns and provide appropriate guidance and support.
- Monitor visitors and ensure compliance with visitor policies.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, maintenance, and other support staff.
- Maintain hostel registers, records, incident reports, and other documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of emergency and safety procedures.
- Coordinate medical assistance in case of illness or emergencies.
- Conduct regular checks of common areas and hostel facilities.
- Help students maintain a healthy routine and respectful living workplace.
- Report serious disciplinary, safety, or maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students and their personal information.

Expectations from the Warden Family

- The family should demonstrate maturity, responsibility, patience, and integrity.
- Both husband and wife should be willing to contribute to hostel operations as required.




- The family should maintain a respectful and professional relationship with students.
- They should be comfortable living on the hostel premises.
- They should be available for emergencies outside normal working hours.
- They should promote a safe, caring, and family-like atmosphere without compromising discipline.

Eligibility

- Preferably a married couple/family with a stable and responsible background.
- Graduate qualification preferred for at least one member of the family.
- Previous experience in hostel management, student care, education, residential institutions, or similar roles will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills preferred.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and responsibly.
- Strong sense of discipline, cleanliness, and accountability.

Working Arrangement

- Residential position – accommodation on hostel premises
- Availability required for urgent/emergency situations.
- Duties may include supervision during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Specific working hours and leave arrangements will be discussed during the interview.
