About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IBM Integration Developer to build and support payment processing solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) 12, IBM Integration Bus v10, IBM MQ, and IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM). You will work on Canadian payments and EFT modernization initiatives, with a strong focus on CPA005 and ISO 20022 standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy message flows using IBM ACE 12 and IBM Integration Bus v10
- Build and maintain payment processing solutions on IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM)
- Develop ESQL and Java compute nodes for message transformation, routing, and validation
- Configure and manage IBM MQ queues, channels, and messaging patterns
- Implement and support payment formats including CPA005 and ISO 20022
- Transform and process XML and JSON data across systems
- Write and optimize SQL queries and work with DB2 databases
- Support Canadian payments and EFT modernization programs, including migration from legacy formats to ISO 20022
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects
- Manage source code and collaboration using GitHub; track work in JIRA
- Build and deploy containerized integration components using Docker
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Work 2nd shift hours (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM)

Required Qualifications

- [X]+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ACE 12 and IBM Integration Bus v10
- Strong experience with IBM MQ
- Hands-on experience with IBM FTM
- Proficiency in ESQL, Core Java, and J2SE
- Solid experience with DB2 and SQL
- Strong working knowledge of XML and JSON
- Knowledge of payment standards: CPA005 and ISO 20022
- Experience with GitHub, Docker, and JIRA
- Robust analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM)

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in Canadian payments or EFT modernization programs
- Familiarity with Payments Canada standards and clearing/settlement processes (e.g., ACSS, Lynx)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments
- Understanding of payment security, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
