Investment Analyst – Factor Investing

About the role

We’re looking for an Investment Analyst with experience in factor investing, quantitative equity research, and systematic portfolio construction. You’ll work closely with the CIO on research, model development, portfolio analysis, and investment strategy.

Key responsibilities

- Research equity factors such as Quality, Value, Momentum, Low Volatility, Growth, and Size.
- Develop, test, and improve systematic investment models and screening methods.
- Analyze company fundamentals, financial statements, market data, and portfolio performance.
- Conduct factor exposure, attribution, and risk analysis.
- Build and maintain financial models, research databases, and investment analytics.
- Prepare research reports and presentations, and support current investment ideas.

Qualifications

- At least 4 years of investment research or portfolio management experience.
- Strong knowledge of factor investing,



quantitative investing, or systematic equity strategies.
- Good understanding of Indian equity and capital markets.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel proficiency.
- Python, R, SQL, or similar tools are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
