Position Overview:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Junior Billing Specialist to join our remote finance operations dedicated to our Occupational Health division. Working under the direct supervision of our senior billing team, you will manage daily B2B client invoicing, monitor accounts receivable, track incoming revenue, and handle billing follow-ups. This role is ideal for a proactive team player who is eager to master specialized healthcare pricing, follow precise protocols, and grow their skill set in medical billing.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Junior Billing Specialist will focus on client invoicing, revenue tracking, and account reconciliations across our corporate accounts. This role requires someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-specialty healthcare workplace.

Primary Responsibilities

- Billing & Invoicing Operations





- Generate and issue accurate B2B invoices for corporate occupational health clients according to specific pricing terms and service agreements.

- Follow client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service level agreements, and internal financial controls.

- Coordinate with primary care and urgent care clinic staff to reconcile billing discrepancies and verify client authorization forms.

- Revenue Tracking & Collections

- Monitor pending invoice payments, track daily incoming revenue, and execute professional follow-ups on outstanding balances.

- Maintain organized payment records and assist with weekly revenue tracking reports for department leadership.

- Support payment processing, ledger maintenance, and basic accounts receivable reconciliations.

- Compliance & Data Privacy

- Adhere strictly to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), federal healthcare privacy standards, and company data security policies when handling corporate financial records and Protected Health Information (PHI).

Job Requirements

- Education:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration preferred.

- Experience and Qualifications:

- 0 to 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general administrative finance.

- Strong numerical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and ability to quickly grasp tiered corporate pricing structures.

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort using cloud-based financial software or EHR systems.





- Clear, professional written and verbal English communication skills for client outreach.

- Completion of a signed IRS Form W-8BEN prior to engagement start for non-U.S. remote workers to certify tax status.

- Schedule Requirements:

- Ability to work Eastern Time (ET) hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including applicable company holidays.

- Technical Requirements:

- Reliable wired internet connection (100 Mbps minimum).

- Computer/laptop with Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB RAM minimum, and 128GB free storage.

- Dual-screen setup preferred for enhanced productivity.

- Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS (latest version).

- Clear webcam (1080p or higher resolution) and microphone for communication.

- Secure, private workspace compliant with healthcare remote-work security requirements, prohibiting local downloads, printing, or screen capture of patient/client financial data.
