We are looking for an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) with strong expertise in Pega architecture, BPM, BRE, solution design and enterprise technology delivery.
The candidate will be responsible for owning technical design, guiding development teams, ensuring Pega guardrail compliance, troubleshooting complex production issues and providing architecture guidance across multiple projects.
- Facilitate, lead and participate in the identification of solution options and features for Pega applications.
- Communicate solution options to business owners, stakeholders and Architecture Review Boards.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise technology standards, solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps and capital plans.
- Maintain awareness of existing technology assets and their capabilities.
- Deliver project deliverables within scope, timelines and required quality standards.
- Take ownership of end-to-end technology delivery.
- Act as the Technical Design Authority for multiple projects.
- Own design recommendations throughout the complete project lifecycle.
BPM & BRE
- Provide cross-segment and cross-domain guidance on BPM (Business Process Management) and BRE (Business Rules Engine).
- Provide technology recommendations and transition strategies for complex or multiple projects.
- Support the design, development and implementation of Pega initiatives.
- Act as a BPM and Pega leader/mentor.
- Propose innovative and out-of-the-box solutions for complex business problems.
Quality Governance
- Ensure teams follow Pega development best practices.
- Ensure application configuration is compliant with Pega guardrails.
- Review the work of other team members and provide technical guidance.
- Support quality governance across Pega implementations.
Troubleshooting & Performance
- Assist with troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Identify root causes of production-level architecture and application issues.
- Provide practical, evidence-based technical recommendations.
- Review application logs to ensure quality standards.
- Run Preflight and PAL to assess performance and quality.
- Support performance optimization and architectural improvements.
Deployment
- Design and recommend effective deployment procedures.
- Support deployment planning across Pega environments.
- Ensure deployment processes align with enterprise standards and project requirements.
Required Pega Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have working knowledge of the following PRPC design and implementation concepts:
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM workplace.
- Experience with Pega Smart BPM software development lifecycle.
- Experience working on complex enterprise Pega implementations.
- Ability to work across business, technology and architecture teams.
