We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician with expertise in reading technical drawings and working with heavy machinery. Responsibilities

- Interpret and analyze detailed mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes.
- Assemble heavy machinery components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to install electrical systems within machinery accurately.
- Set up machining tools such as CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, ensuring accurate cuts and fabrications aligned with specifications.
- Install hydraulic, pneumatic, and power systems, including calibrating measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.




- Conduct quality control measurements during assembly using measurement instruments to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Interpret production documents and follow safety protocols while working with industrial equipment, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, metal fabrication, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical wiring, and industrial equipment installation.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical schematics reading, and measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining setup procedures.
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred; willingness to operate forklifts safely is required.
