Job Purpose

The Senior Career Advisor will be responsible for providing career guidance and counselling to students and prospective candidates, driving admissions, achieving assigned targets, and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional career counselling to students and parents based on their educational background, interests, skills, and career goals.
- Explain suitable courses, eligibility criteria, course structure, fees, certification, career opportunities, and placement support.
- Handle walk-in, telephone, digital, and referral enquiries.
- Convert enquiries and leads into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students and parents.
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions, career guidance sessions, seminars, and student awareness programmes.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, counselling, and admissions.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Telecalling, Academic, and Placement teams to improve student mobilisation and admissions.
- Guide and support junior Career Advisors/Counsellors in counselling and conversion techniques.
- Monitor lead conversion, walk-in conversion, and admission performance.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, colleges, and other stakeholders.




- Resolve student and parent queries professionally and ensure a positive counselling experience.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to counselling and admissions.
- Stay updated with education-sector trends, industry requirements, job opportunities, and career-oriented courses.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Education Industry is mandatory.
- Experience in career counselling, student counselling, admissions, education sales, or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, presentation, negotiation, and convincing skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay: ₹14,884.86 - ₹20,277.66 per month
