About the Role

We are looking for a Cricket Podcast Video Editor who has a strong understanding and genuine interest in cricket.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand the game, players, teams, tournaments, and key cricket moments—and use that knowledge to create engaging video content for our podcast and social media platforms.

Important: Cricket knowledge is mandatory. DO NOT APPLY if you do not follow or understand the game of cricket.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit full-length cricket podcast episodes for YouTube and other platforms.
- Create engaging teasers, trailers, promos, reels, and short-form videos from podcast episodes.
- Identify important, funny, controversial, emotional, and interesting cricket moments and turn them into engaging clips.
- Add relevant graphics, text, animations, transitions, sound effects, music, and subtitles.
- Create strong opening hooks to improve viewer retention.
- Understand cricket terminology, players, teams, tournaments, and match situations while editing.
- Select relevant cricket footage, images, and supporting visuals where required.
- Create content suitable for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Work closely with the podcast/content team to understand the desired tone and messaging.
- Deliver high-quality edits within deadlines.

Required Skills

- Strong cricket knowledge and passion for the game.
- Good understanding of cricket formats such as Test, ODI,



and T20.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
- Knowledge of After Effects / motion graphics will be an advantage.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, music, sound design, and visual composition.
- Ability to create attention-grabbing teasers, trailers, promos, reels, and YouTube clips.
- Understanding of social media trends and short-form video formats.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

What We Are Looking For

We need someone who doesn't just know how to edit videos, but understands cricket and knows what cricket fans want to watch.

You should be able to watch a cricket podcast and immediately recognize:

- Which moment can become a teaser
- Which statement can become a viral clip
- Which discussion deserves a promo
- Where to add match footage, graphics, stats, or reactions
- How to build suspense and curiosity before revealing the key moment
