Description

1. Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.

2. Also install plumbing fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, and toilets, and appliances, including dishwashers and washing machines

3. Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids

4. Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building

5. Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing

6. Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems on regular rounds.

7. Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair

8. Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location,



and intended uses of building

9. Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts

10. Helps RO, STP & ETP Plant operators as and when required.

11. Any other work assigned from the Manager from time to time.
