Required a Senior Bodyshop Advisor – Four Wheeler Showroom

Position: Senior Bodyshop Advisor
Department: Bodyshop / Accident Repair
Experience: 2–3 years in four-wheeler bodyshop/dealership
Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred

Job Responsibilities

- Receive accident and insurance vehicles and understand customer requirements.
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspection and prepare accurate job cards and repair estimates.
- Identify body damage, mechanical damage, electrical damage and hidden/secondary damage.
- Prepare repair estimates covering:
- Denting and painting
- Panel replacement
- Chassis/body alignment
- Welding and structural repairs
- Glass and trim replacement
- Electrical components
- Mechanical components related to accident repairs
- AC and cooling-system components
- Safety-system components
- Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors and customers for cashless/insurance claims.
- Understand insurance claim procedures, approvals, supplements and documentation.
- Coordinate with technicians, denting/painting teams, spare-parts department and workshop management.
- Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles are delivered within the committed timeline.
- Identify additional/hidden damages during dismantling and obtain necessary approval before repairs.
- Coordinate parts availability and ensure correct parts are ordered and fitted.
- Ensure proper denting, welding, panel replacement, painting, polishing and vehicle assembly.
- Have knowledge of body dimensions, chassis alignment and accident repair procedures.
- Ensure correct colour matching, paint preparation, primer,



putty, base coat and clear coat procedures.
- Coordinate final inspection, road testing where required and quality control before vehicle delivery.
- Explain repair work, replaced parts and billing to customers at the time of delivery.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain proper documentation for insurance, estimates, approvals, job cards and invoices.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures, safety standards and bodyshop SOPs.
- Achieve targets related to bodyshop revenue, customer satisfaction, turnaround time and insurance claim settlement.

Technical Knowledge Required

The candidate should have valuable knowledge of:

- Four-wheeler body construction and accident repair
- Monocoque/unibody and chassis-frame construction
- Denting and panel repair
- MIG/MAG welding and cutting procedures
- Chassis/body alignment
- Measuring systems and body-dimension charts
- Panel replacement and structural repair
- Plastic bumper and component repair
- Automotive glass and trim
- Paint booth and paint-shop processes
- Primer, putty, base coat and clear coat
- Colour matching and paint mixing
- Rust prevention and anti-corrosion treatment
- ADAS components and calibration basics
- Airbags,



seat belts and other passive safety systems
- Sensors, cameras and radar damaged during accidents
- Basic electrical and mechanical accident-related repairs
- OEM repair manuals and technical repair procedures

Insurance & Claim Knowledge

The candidate should be experienced in:

- Insurance claim registration
- Surveyor coordination
- Damage assessment
- Estimate preparation
- Initial survey and re-inspection
- Supplementary estimates
- Claim approval follow-up
- Cashless repair procedures
- Insurance documentation
- Final billing and claim settlement
- Coordination with insurance companies/TPAs

Preferred Experience

Experience in an authorized Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Toyota, Kia, Honda, Volkswagen, Skoda, Renault-Nissan or other reputed four-wheeler dealership/bodyshop will be preferred.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards
