Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing facility in Sharjah, UAE. The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance, while also monitoring and coordinating the finance and accounting team at our Lower Parel facility in Mumbai, India.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent attention to detail, and experience in managing finance and accounting functions within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the fragrance, flavours, or related industries. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely reporting across the UAE and India operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments, collections, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning
- Monitor expenses, outstanding receivables, payables, and working capital




- Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax-related compliances
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal financial controls
- Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related requirements
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably at Senior Accountant level
- Mandatory experience in the Fragrance/Perfumery industry or closely related fragrance manufacturing business
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and strong MS Excel skills
- Positive analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates should preferably be currently based in India and have experience with established fragrance companies.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
