Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Checker to inspect construction activities and ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect ongoing construction work at sites
- Check workmanship and material quality
- Verify work as per drawings and specifications
- Identify defects and quality issues
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and contractors for corrections
- Conduct regular site quality inspections
- Maintain quality checklists and inspection records
- Monitor corrective actions and follow up for closure
- Prepare basic quality reports
- Ensure proper construction practices are followed
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.E.
/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 2–5 years of construction quality experience
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Good knowledge of construction materials and workmanship
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Valuable observation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to construction sites in Chennai
