Job Description – General Manager - Projects

Position Summary

The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing operations across multiple project sites, ensuring effective delivery of services, maintaining strong relationships with Government and Council representatives, and driving revenue growth. The role requires a seasoned professional with technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage large-scale customers and government/ESCO projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise teams across all sites to ensure operational efficiency and timely project delivery.
- Define transparent goals, KPIs, and performance standards for site teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Government & Council Liaison
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government authorities, Council representatives, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the organization in official meetings, negotiations, and compliance discussions.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and policy requirements in all projects.
- Revenue Enhancement
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth within existing and new projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability and cost optimization.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
- Project & Customer Management
- Oversee installation, maintenance,



and operational activities across sites.
- Manage large-scale customers, ensuring service excellence and long-term engagement.
- Drive execution of Government and ESCO projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare structured reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Communication & Documentation
- Ensure effective communication across teams through professional speech, structured emails, and clear documentation.
- Draft formal correspondence, project updates, and compliance reports.
- Maintain transparency and clarity in all internal and external communications.

Qualifications

- Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Electrical.
- Age Preference: 45–50 years.
- Languages: Proficiency in English, Hindi.

Experience

- Extensive field experience in installation and maintenance.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale customers and managing complex projects.
- Experience in Government and ESCO projects will be considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site operations and deliver results under challenging conditions.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
