Job Summary

Own the technical deployment and operationalization of the IPS/IDS automation solution across Ford environments, ensuring that application components, integrations, pipelines, controls, and production rollout work together reliably.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and configure development, test, staging, and production environments in line with Ford standards. · Coordinate deployment of the Backstage plugin, backend services, AI components, and Policy-as-Code modules. · Implement and support integrations with Trend Micro, ServiceNow, GitHub/GitOps, API gateway, identity, logging, and monitoring services. · Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release controls, deployment scripts, rollback procedures, and configuration management. · Work with security SMEs to translate approved policies and operational procedures into deployable workflows. · Support sandbox deployment, technical validation, production cutover, smoke testing, and post-production stabilization. · Troubleshoot environment, connectivity, authentication, API, pipeline, and deployment issues across solution layers. · Maintain deployment runbooks, architecture/configuration records,

operational handover documents, and knowledge-transfer material. · Ensure audit logs, alerts, dashboards, secrets handling, and production support readiness are established before go-live.

Skill Requirements

Hands-on experience with enterprise application deployment and production rollout · Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, integration patterns, and API gateways · Experience with GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD, infrastructure/configuration automation, and release management · Working knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized applications · Ability to troubleshoot across application, network, security, and platform layers · Experience operating within formal ITSM, security, and change-control processes · Strong stakeholder coordination and client-facing communication
