About the role Own ResQBag's day-to-day content presence across platforms — writing, planning, and posting content that makes food rescue feel like a neighbourhood habit. This is distinct from the Influencer intern (below), who focuses on creator partnerships; this role owns ResQBag's own channels.

Responsibilities

- Plan and maintain a content calendar across Instagram, YouTube (Shorts), Reddit, and any other relevant platform (X, LinkedIn, Threads as needed)
- Write captions, post copy, and community replies in ResQBag's brand voice ("rescued/surplus/neighbourhood," never "leftover/waste/cheap")
- Post and manage community engagement — replying to comments/DMs, monitoring relevant subreddits (e.g. Bengaluru, food, sustainability communities) for organic engagement opportunities
- Coordinate with the video editor for asset needs and posting schedules
- Track basic post performance (reach, saves,



engagement, sign-ups) and report weekly

Requirements

- Strong writing skills — can adapt tone across platforms (Instagram casual, Reddit conversational/no-hard-sell, YouTube descriptive)
- Understands Reddit culture specifically — overt marketing gets called out rapid, so needs a light touch
- Comfortable using scheduling tools (Buffer/Later/Meta Business Suite)
- Organized — calendar/deadlines don't slip

Nice to have

- Existing Reddit karma/active account in relevant subreddits
- Basic Canva/design skills for static posts
- Interest in sustainability or F&B; space
