About the role

SkillsNCR is looking for a Founding Generalist – Founder’s Office to work closely with the founder during our 0→1 stage.

Location: Gurgaon / Gurugram only
Working style: Primarily in-person + on-ground
Experience: Freshers, final-year students and early-career candidates welcome
Reports to: Founder, SkillsNCR

SkillsNCR is at an early validation and building stage. We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to participate in building something from the ground up.

You must currently live in Gurgaon/Gurugram.

What will you do?

Your broad responsibility will be:

Take an idea or founder priority and help convert it into execution, evidence and a next decision.

Your work may include:

- Helping execute school and community events
- Visiting schools, colleges and residential societies
- Speaking with parents, students and potential partners
- Researching business and growth opportunities
- Testing marketing and acquisition ideas
- Identifying potential partnerships
- Coordinating local activities and vendors
- Following up with prospective customers
- Conducting competitor and market research
- Using AI tools for research and execution
- Creating presentations, documents and operating material
- Capturing customer feedback
- Solving day-to-day operational problems
- Running small experiments from idea to outcome

One week may look very different from another.

That is part of working in an early-stage company.

“What should I do next?”

Over time, we want someone who starts saying:

“I noticed this problem. I looked into it. I tried this. Here is what happened, and here is what I think we should do next.”

You do not need to know everything.

You need to be willing to figure things out.

- Years of work experience

We care much more about evidence of initiative.

Gurgaon requirement

You must currently live in Gurgaon/Gurugram and be comfortable travelling locally.

Compensation and engagement

SkillsNCR is currently operating at an early validation stage and remains extremely lean.

The exact engagement structure, duration and commercial terms will be discussed transparently with shortlisted candidates and confirmed in writing before productive work begins.

Pay: ₹11,241.40 - ₹78,261.37 per month
