Job Description:
The Senior Manager - Training will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance employee skills and performance in alignment with corporate objectives. This role will involve assessing training needs, designing curriculum, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. The Senior Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills, and create targeted training solutions. Further, this position will oversee the training team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality training delivery across the organization. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for managing budgets related to training programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and staying updated on industry trends to incorporate best practices into training efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps across different departments
- Design and develop comprehensive training curricula and programs
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars




- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with business goals
- Oversee and mentor training staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement
- Manage training budgets and resources efficiently
- Stay current with industry developments and integrate innovative training practices
- Prepare reports on training effectiveness and outcomes for senior management

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
- Proven experience in a training and development leadership role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- Innovative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
