URGENT HIRING – OPTOMETRIST

Position: Optometrist

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests.
- Perform objective and subjective refraction to determine accurate spectacle prescriptions.
- Check visual acuity and assess customers' vision requirements.
- Operate optometry equipment such as autorefractors, retinoscopes, and lensometers.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable spectacle frames, lenses, and optical products.
- Provide guidance on contact lenses, including fitting and usage, as required.
- Explain prescriptions, lens options, and basic eye-care practices to customers.
- Identify common vision problems and recommend referral to an ophthalmologist when necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records and prescription details.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of optometry equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and support the day-to-day operations of the optical store.

Candidate Requirements





- B.Optom / Bachelor of Optometry or an equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience as an Optometrist.
- Previous experience in an optical store is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of refraction, eye testing, and spectacle prescriptions.
- Hands-on experience with autorefractors, retinoscopes, and lensometers.
- Good knowledge of optical lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Professional, responsible, and customer-oriented approach.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
