About the Role
We're building a large-scale, LinkedIn-style professional networking platform (AssoXiate) with a comprehensive customer portal and admin panel spanning users, companies, jobs, marketplace, networking, stories/reels, and more. We're looking for a Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build and scale our microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain backend microservices using NestJS
- Work with PostgreSQL (RDS), Redis, and OpenSearch to build performant, scalable data layers
- Develop and integrate REST APIs consumed by our Next.js web app and Flutter mobile app
- Implement queue-based async workflows using BullMQ and RabbitMQ
- Collaborate on AWS infrastructure (ECS Fargate, S3, CloudFront) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions → CodePipeline → ECR → ECS)
- Implement authentication, authorization, and RBAC (Casl.js)
- Integrate third-party services: Stripe/Razorpay for payments, Firebase for push notifications,



AI platforms (Gemini/OpenAI) for content workflows
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Debug and optimize backend performance across microservices

Requirements

- Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS (or similar frameworks like Express)
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, Redis, and relational database design
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront) or equivalent cloud platforms
- Experience with message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or similar)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a rapid-paced startup environment

Pay: ₹336,373.57 - ₹1,631,850.33 per year
