Content Writer (Insurance & Finance Domain)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Writer who has experience writing impactful content across newsletters to short videos to Linkedin or Twitter.

You'll be writing about insurance and personal finance, a category most people find boring or confusing, and your job is to make it neither. The right person here has a strong creative instinct, does real research before they write, and can get the reader to act.

What You'll Do

Writing - to turn dry financial concepts and industry updates into relatable, helpful content people actually want to engage with.

- From newsletters to website content
- Write and manage content for Twitter and LinkedIn: threads, posts, hooks, hot takes on insurance/finance news, and founder-voice content
- Write scripts for short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) that simplify insurance/finance concepts creatively
- Write creative copy for campaigns, landing pages, ads, and brand marketing

What We're Looking For

- 2-4 years of relevant experience, as proven creative writer, not just a content producer: show us work that has a voice, a hook, a point of view
- Genuine curiosity and research instinct: you dig into a topic before you write about it, not just paraphrase the first Google result
- Strong sense of empathy for the reader:



you write from what confuses or worries a policy buyer, not what the company wants to say
- Exposure to finance, insurance, fintech, or another regulated/technical category is a strong plus, but a sharp writer who can learn the domain fast is equally welcome.
- Knowing how to smartly use AI tools for writing is a must.
- Experience working in early stage startups is a big plus

- That you can break down complex topics into simple to read, relatable content.
- Examples of
- Newsletter, or website content.
- Twitter/LinkedIn posts or threads you've written (yours or for a brand)
- Short-form script writing
- Additionally any creative marketing copy (ads, campaigns, landing pages)
