Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our MEP team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of HVAC systems at project sites.

The technician should have valuable practical knowledge of HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, electrical controls, and maintenance activities, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment.
- Carry out installation and maintenance of AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, Split AC, Package AC, Chiller and ventilation systems as applicable.
- Perform HVAC ducting, piping, insulation, supports, drain piping, and related installation works.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance checks of HVAC equipment.
- Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related faults.
- Check refrigerant pressure, temperature, airflow, water flow, and other operating parameters.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Read and understand HVAC drawings, layouts, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, electricians, plumbers, and other MEP teams.
- Ensure proper installation as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the work location.
- Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain daily work reports, maintenance records, and material requirements.




- Report technical issues, material shortages, and site constraints to the concerned engineer/supervisor.
- Assist in final testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover activities.

Required Skills

- Good practical knowledge of HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycle and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
- Ability to use basic HVAC tools and testing instruments.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings and understand installation details.
- Basic knowledge of electrical controls and HVAC control systems.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work at project sites and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and safe working practices.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), HVAC, Mechanical, or equivalent.
- Relevant technical certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning.

Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications and good practical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹9,573.68 - ₹41,008.18 per month
