Job Summary

We are looking for experienced PLC Programmers with hands-on expertise in Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) and Siemens PLC systems. Candidates must have experience in tyre/rubber manufacturing automation, including conveyor systems, material handling and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, program and troubleshoot PLC logic using Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 and Siemens TIA Portal/STEP 7.
- Develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications using FactoryTalk View and WinCC.
- Integrate VFDs, servo drives, safety systems, sensors and industrial communication networks.
- Work on automated conveyor and material-handling systems in tyre manufacturing plants.
- Perform system testing, installation, startup and in office commissioning.
- Prepare functional design specifications (FDS), I/O lists, control narratives and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project, mechanical and site engineering teams to complete projects.

Required Technical Skills

- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC: Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, CompactLogix, ControlLogix.
- Siemens PLC: TIA Portal, STEP 7, S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300.
- HMI/SCADA: FactoryTalk View, WinCC.
- Drives: VFDs, servo drives and motion control.
- Communication: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP, Modbus.
- Sensors: SICK, Cognex,



vision/laser sensors and safety sensors.
- Industry experience: Tyre/rubber manufacturing automation, conveyors, tyre-building machines, curing units or inspection systems.

Eligibility Criteria

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant PLC programming experience in the tyre/rubber manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with both Rockwell and Siemens PLC platforms.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India (more than 80% depending on projects).
- Willingness to relocate to Chennai or project locations as required.
