Consultant – ETL Tester

Experience: 4–8 Years
Location: Chennai, India
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days WFO / 2 Days WFH
Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in ETL/ELT testing, data validation, automation, and report testing, particularly with Power BI.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, preferably within dbt and Snowflake ecosystems.

ETL Testing

- Strong experience in ETL/ELT testing, data validation, and data reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with ETL Test Automation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and source-to-target testing.
- Mandatory hands-on automation experience using Python / PySpark / Snowpark frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Snowflake.
- Positive knowledge of:
- Data Warehousing
- Data Integration
- Data Validation
- Source-to-target validation
- Data reconciliation
- Experience working with dbt is preferred.




- Familiarity with AI-driven testing methodologies and intelligent validation approaches is a nice-to-have.

Report Testing – Power BI

- Strong experience in Power BI report testing.
- Validate:
- Report data
- Report functionality
- Filters
- Drilldowns
- Calculations
- Visuals
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and source-to-report validation.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including:
- Facts
- Dimensions
- Data relationships
- Data validation
