ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a mature, sincere and target-oriented Sales Person with a strong Construction Industry background and local market network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. LEAD GENERATION & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Generate new leads through architects, builders, contractors, customers and other construction-industry contacts.
2. CUSTOMER & MARKET NETWORK Maintain strong relationships with architects, builders and customers and develop new business opportunities.
3. CUSTOMER VISITS & PRESENTATION Visit customers, architects and builders, understand requirements and present suitable company products/services.
4. FOLLOW-UP & ORDER CONVERSION Regularly follow up on enquiries and quotations and convert prospective customers into confirmed orders.
5. QUOTATION & NEGOTIATION Prepare and follow up quotations and negotiate with customers within management-approved commercial limits.
6. SALES TARGET ACHIEVEMENT Work towards assigned sales targets and maintain consistent business development and sales performance.
7. ORDER & INTERNAL COORDINATION Provide complete customer/order details and coordinate with Operations, Production, Dispatch and other concerned departments.

CUSTOMER & ORDER UPDATES Follow up internally on order progress and keep customers updated regarding order and delivery status.
9. SALES REPORTING & CRM Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, orders, sales and customer information.
10. MARKET DEVELOPMENT & FEEDBACK Develop new market opportunities, maintain customer relationships and share relevant market feedback with management.
IMPORTANT – CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Age: 30+ years; candidate must be mature and sincere.
Construction Industry background is mandatory.
Must have a good existing network of Architects and Builders.
Must have robust knowledge of the Ludhiana market and local areas.
Must have strong communication, sales, negotiation and follow-up skills.
Car driving is mandatory and own bike is mandatory.
TA/DA will be provided as per company norms.
Must be comfortable visiting sites/customers outside Ludhiana whenever required.
