CloudiQS is an AWS-only Advanced Tier Services Partner helping customers build, migrate, secure, modernise and operate workloads on AWS.

We work across cloud migrations, landing zones, security, infrastructure automation, managed services, FinOps and AI workloads. Our engineers work directly on real customer AWS environments and are expected to take ownership from architecture through deployment and ongoing operations.

We are expanding our engineering capability in India and are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join the team.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on AWS DevOps Engineer who can design, deploy, automate and operate production AWS environments.

This is not a role focused only on maintaining CI/CD pipelines. You will work across the AWS platform — infrastructure, networking, security, observability, automation, deployments and operational support.

You will work alongside Cloud Architects, Engineers and the CloudiQS delivery team to take customer requirements and turn them into secure, repeatable and production-ready AWS solutions.

What You Will Do

- Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy
- Deploy and operate workloads across EC2, ECS, Lambda and containerised environments
- Build and maintain AWS networking including VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT Gateways, Security Groups, Load Balancers and PrivateLink
- Implement AWS security controls using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, AWS WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub and CloudTrail
- Support AWS multi-account environments and landing zones using AWS Organizations and Control Tower
- Automate configuration and operational tasks using AWS Systems Manager, Bash, Python and AWS CLI
- Build monitoring, logging and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch and related AWS services
- Troubleshoot application, networking, infrastructure and deployment issues across customer environments
- Support AWS migrations and modernisation projects
- Create reusable infrastructure modules, deployment patterns and automation
- Implement backup, disaster recovery and high-availability patterns
- Support patching, vulnerability remediation and operational security




- Analyse AWS environments for reliability, performance and cost optimisation
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and architecture records
- Participate in customer technical discussions and explain solutions clearly
- Support CloudiQS managed-service customers and help continuously improve their AWS environments

Essential Experience

We are looking for someone with strong practical AWS experience.

You should have experience with:

- 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS
- Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Linux administration
- Docker and container-based workloads
- Git and Git-based development workflows
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- AWS IAM and cloud security fundamentals
- AWS networking and VPC architecture
- EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and Load Balancing
- Amazon CloudWatch and operational monitoring
- Bash and/or Python scripting
- Troubleshooting production infrastructure
- Infrastructure-as-Code and automation-first working practices

Candidates without certification may still be considered where they can demonstrate strong hands-on AWS experience.
